The outside perspective
Fettle gives you experienced, independent support to cut through the noise, challenge assumptions and turn difficult questions into practical next steps.
How I Will Help
Gain a clear focus on where the business is going, what is holding it back and which opportunities deserve your attention.
Understand where money is being made, where it is being lost and what needs to change to improve performance.
Build better structure behind the work so the business can perform consistently without everything relying on you.
Work through a live challenge with someone who understands the commercial reality and will tell you what they genuinely think.
Experience, not theory
I’m Jamie Cottle, founder of Fettle. I’ve spent more than 15 years starting, growing and leading owner-managed businesses—dealing with the decisions, pressure and uncertainty that come with it.
I’ve built multi-million-pound companies, including growing Flex-E-Lease from £1.03m to £2.21m turnover with £285k profit before tax, and leading CAMROL to almost £4m annual turnover.
That experience means the advice is grounded in commercial reality: what works, what costs, what gets in the way and how to move forward.

We start with the situation as it really is—not the polished version.
We identify the decisions and changes that will make the greatest difference.
You leave with clarity, priorities and practical actions you can use immediately.
A good fit
01You know the business could perform better, but you’re not sure what to fix first.
02Growth has created complexity and everything still seems to come back to you.
03You’re facing a decision where a clear, experienced outside view would help.
04You want straight-talking support and useful action—not another business coach.
